what is frottage?

1. Rubbing against someone or something for reasons of sexual pleasure/release. 2. In Art, the use of paint put on an object and then the object pressed or rubbed onto paper or a canvas to create a texture. Example, take a rough piece of wood, spread some paint on it press it against a canvas, pull it away and it will leave a paint pattern similar to the grain of the wood behind.
