If anything, do go for a single malt.
Snowflake107 · 31-35, F
Does that mean a single bottle
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
@Snowflake107: no, it's a type of whisky. It will say so on the bottle. If it doesn't say it it won't be a single malt

Bushmills 21 year single malt would be a good bottle of Irish whiskey. Redbreast is also good, as is Jameson, but it depends upon the series and age with every brand. Bushmills is reasonable for a 21, between $100-$150. Some of the Jameson are more expensive, and some are less expensive, same with Bushmills and Redbreast that have different aged whiskeys. A Redbreast 12 year would be about $60-$70, whereas a 21 year is $160-$200.

So is it older n more exspensive better or dose it go by older or more exspensive
toddr13 · 46-50, M
Like with wine where older vintages can be much more expensive, aged whiskey does tend to be more expensive, but can also be more flavorful. It's subjective as to taste, but there are some Jameson that can range as high as the higher-end Scottish distilleries. Older and more expensive can be a very rare whiskey that is prized, but I think that a reasonable 21 year like Bushmills would be good without going to a Jameson Rarest Reserve that would be around $400.
