Obv depends how big the lies and truths are, but broadly the former. You can't do much in life if you don't have some kind of baseline standard of evidence that can realistically be met.

I go for the former. I'm pretty credulous unless I'm dealing with the employer or the media (on certain subjects). But if friends tell me something I believe it.

The former. I think that’s how most people live. The conspiracy minded people who think everything is a lie seem unstable and miserable most of the time.
