Would you rather occasionally believe lies or think that you are constantly being lied to and so don't believe true things?

Obv depends how big the lies and truths are, but broadly the former. You can't do much in life if you don't have some kind of baseline standard of evidence that can realistically be met.

I go for the former. I'm pretty credulous unless I'm dealing with the employer or the media (on certain subjects). But if friends tell me something I believe it.

The former. I think that’s how most people live. The conspiracy minded people who think everything is a lie seem unstable and miserable most of the time.

The former.
But id like to think i can most often know when im being lied to.
And to be able to tell a lie from wishful thinking.
