There's this 80 year old guy he worked at his family store with 40 year old son. I used to buy bread from them

in 2020 the son died due to covid now this old man works alone. Do you think its sad or tragic?

I think it is a testament to the strength of character of the dad. To carry on in the face of adversity. As a father I can't think of anything I would have to endure that would be worse than burying one of my children. The old guy kept living life.
@Roadsterrider he did but he doesn't look happy

@mysteryespresso I don't imagine he does, I can't even imagine how unhappy he would be about the loss of his son, if he worked at the store they had a daily relationship for 40 years. But he didn't shrivel up and die, he continues to take care of the customer he has taken care of every day for the time the store has been open. It takes a lot of strength to keep going when everything in your heart just wants to sit and cry.
