I've spent a ton of hours here today. One common thread I've noticed, very few feel a sense of happiness.

I feel this is a serious trend. I realize current events are dismal and things seem to be getting worse. If we are going to survive I think we need to maintain happiness as best we can. Happiness is healing.

I think COVID made people feel distraught and more pessimistic than they were before.
@SW-User I think the worst may soon be over. I get wayyy too angry at how so man put others at risk. I need to shut up.

I hope COVID is gone for good. We already lost 2 years dealing with that misery. Let’s hope 👌🏼👍🏼@Grateful4you
@SW-User I totally agree. I just do my best and listen to the pros.
I’m working on contentment, my friend. Sometimes I think actual happiness may have to wait until the next life. 😔

I hear ya. I have to say the circumstances of my life are great. But with so many anti-vaxxers dying unnecessarily, with a war in Ukraine and famine in Yemen, with climate change deniers doing their best to mess up the future, it's hard to be optimistic, and thus hard to be happy.
