I know a lot of people who have had COVID-19, including a couple who died 3 days apart (at age 50).
A close friend (who is 60) was hospitalized and on a respirator for 16 days, had a stroke and had to go through months of rehab after getting out of the hospital.
A few months after that, I hit some tennis balls with him at the park, and he apologized for not moving and hitting the ball better....I told him that what was important was that he was able to walk out onto the court and hit some shots, it takes time to be fully recovered from something like that but at least he is still alive and active.

I'm glad the mask mandates will be lifted, but I kinda hope masks also become endemic to American culture. I like that they hide my soft jawline and you can get really pretty ones (: plus they're hygienic even without a disease goin' around killing people.

While I'm glad that the health authorities think it's safe enough to remove the mandates, I will continue to wear one for several months when out in public for my own well being until we see the results of the removal of mandates.

I know a lot more people that were injured trying to prevent the disease than people who were hurt by the disease.

From my perspective I personally think the vaccine has damaged and killed so many people and most don’t even know the damage it has caused to them we don’t have to wear masks here in Australia anymore only in certain places you still do

When it comes to being inside I will be wearing a KN94 until I get advise that it is safe. This “long Covid” results in long term heart problems that I don’t want to chance.
