I don’t enjoy being mean to people 🤔
I suppose more spiteful/resentful/hurtful situations have come up with men though as a result of dating disasters than with my non-dating, female interactions.

@WhateverWorks then you carry that resent and hurt to other men who you may meet?
WhateverWorks · 36-40
No, I was thinking about squabbles that have come up during dating the individuals. I don’t run around being mean to people who haven’t done anything to me lol Heck, I don’t like being mean to people who have done things to me @memyselfandyou

@WhateverWorks i understand being mean is often not anyones intention. But it seems like some seem to really get a kick out of humiliating members of the opposite gender.

That kind of behavior usually stems from some sort of traumatic thing happening in their past, so they lash out @memyselfandyou

@WhateverWorks which then feels cathartic, but leaves the person on the receiving end confused at best

In most cases I don’t even think they realize they’re doing it. It’s like most abuser stories. They tend to feel justified in intentionally hurting people. They usually rationalize that the person brought it upon themselves in some way. @memyselfandyou

@WhateverWorks yes and they really believe that. It's so sad.
