Mark them as spam/junk mail. Then the email system will eventually filter them out. In Gmail on the web and in Thunderbird you can create filters that will delete all mail from that address. In thunderbird you can also make a filter that directs all mail that comes from addresses not in your address book to the junk mail folder or any other folder.

A lot of sites are doing that now, they get your email from a list then say you're getting it because you subscribed, but then say if you somehow didn't click here to unsubscribe.

They should send a verification link to your email in order to subscribe but again, people would be able to spam on you by sending that email again and again
