Do you just stop caring for some friends?

LOL hear me out! This sounds bad!

But do some of you irl have friends you just kinda have nothing in common with anymore? And everytime you try to make an effort with the friendship i.e. text, call, meet up. You just don't enjoy their company at all anymore and there's really nothing in common.
To the point where you wonder how did we even spark something in the first place?
