Which US State is the most Depressing/Worst?

I saw a post asking what country is the most depressing, with a lot of people answering the US.
But does that really count? I swear US states have their own laws and ways of life. Americans please answer below as I wanna know which is the worst state rather than the entire country as a whole.

@Starguy Crime rate in Chicago is really bad, education is bad, taxes are stupid, our governor thinks the rules are only for the little people. And southern Illinois gets treated like a third world country. 😡

@Starguy Florida. It seems better and it has beaches. Or maybe Montana especially in the summer.

@Ksmile14 I had a feeling you'd say Florida, people tend to meme on that state a lot but it looks beautiful there, and the no income tax can be inviting too.
Montana looks beautiful also, the mountains and everything.
