Just read the text

So I have autism and have recently transferred to a special needs school.
I did not want to go to the school and still don’t. I transferred there because my old school said I wasn’t allowed to go there anymore. I’m really sensitive when anyone ever refers to me as special needs because I’m not. My brain just works differently. I don’t like feeling like I’m different from other people just because I’ve needed some therapy’s or other stuff.
Now I’ll share why I created this post:
I was kinda arguing with my mom and then she referred to me as special needs. It hurt like hell and I started crying and stormed upstairs.

I’m sorry for the long post I just needed to vent

I'm sorry. 😔 I don't think people with autism should need to go to a special needs school if they can manage okay. If you are lower on the spectrum, it's okay because you need a lot of support. But not for high functioning autism. *hugs*

Don't be labeled, be the best possible person you can be. 🤗
