Welllll idk about you, but no one showed me how to respect and honor myself growing up, they only treated me like shit, so I assumed that was normal. I'm sure that has something to do with it.
I'm very sorry you went through that Aiyana. :-( You just described much of my childhood. My father was extremely abusive for many years and it seriously damaged me and shattered my self-image/self-esteem.
