COVID-19 mandates fall apart: Navy SEALs denied religious exemption no longer
The Navy can no more question the spiritual devotion of these SEALs than it can question their patriotism or their warfighting abilities.

“There is no COVID-19 exception to the First Amendment,” wrote U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Connor. His words, directed to the United States Navy, should remind all Americans – and especially those in positions of authority – that the [c=BF0000]Constitution refuses to bend to authoritarian[/c] impulses.

Earlier this month, O’Connor issued a preliminary injunction against the U.S. Navy, preventing it from taking any further action against the 35 Navy SEALs and Special Warfare service members represented by the First Liberty Institute. It also provides hope for the thousands of members of the military who bravely raised religious objections to receiving the vaccine knowing full well their fates had long been sealed.

This for me is about 'dictating' to others as a leader of a nation, what you expect them to do as citizens. And that is called being a 'dictatorship'. It's wrong in every single way to force people to do something you want them to do.

I'm vaccinated, but now that there's no mandate, I'm not being forced to have to do anything else. Now, I know how people here get all up in arms over this topic.

If you want to have a CIVIL debate... WITHOUT aggravation, or name calling, or being petty, or etc. etc. along those lines, debate. I love sharing my opinions and how I feel, and reading how others feel, but I don't tolerate disrespect.

My intention with this specific post is not to denigrate or ridicule anyone on their personal health decisions. I just want to share my opinion on this persons opinion that forcing people of a nation, is wrong. And if a leader of a nation 'dictates' to it's people, then that person is a 'dictator'.
