A Cure For The Winter Doldrums

[image deleted]I find that a cure for Winter is to be out in it. Today, I struck up a fire in my firepit. It was wonderful, the scent of burning fir and pine...a perfect boost on a cold day. Unless it were along the sea, I would live no other place than in the woods down a long dirt road

This is so right! Winter sucks as a spectator who needs to tolerate it. But to go out and be in the weather changes everything!
A big fire sounds great.

@nonsensiclesnail It's the best. Growing up a farm kid, my memories are rife with them. So perfect, and full of sensory stimulation.
