Some people I met here have (like myself) seem to have just disappeared. I'm back, I don't know why, but I'm here.

life has changed so much for so many. I tend to think it's likely more useful to try to forge ahead with new connections, maybe reconnect if it makes sense. but good luck in finding what and who you're looking for.

The feeling is mutual. I miss some of the people I used to talk to. It feels incredibly depressing to see their names and knowing that I may never speak to them again.
