For me, it’s sort of like the time traveler paradox because my choice to become a parent has made life is really hard juggling everything that I do and at the same time, if I hadn’t become a parent I don’t think I would’ve ever had certain epiphanies that have allowed me to do something meaningful with my life

If I had stayed at my first job, I could have watched them go out of business, and I would have been stuck in a very small city with zero job prospects. Instead, I quit that job, and I moved across the country, starting me on a career path that brought me success, good wages, and benefits.

@BigBulge but at the time you decided to quit was that a significant risk for you that eventually paid off? Or did you have nothing to lose by taking such a chance?

It was a very big risk because I had just bought a brand new car, and I didn't have a job waiting for me. I was young and confident that I could find a job, and I did.@DoubleRings @DoubleRings

@SW-User In a nutshell, my mom died almost 10 years ago (wow can’t believe it). My bf broke up with me around the same time and it was my fault bc I was a difficult person with him. It took me yeeeeears to accept it and get over it. I always felt I’ve been on the wrong path ever since. Forcing a life forward in a direction it’s not meant to go. Going against the grain. Never truly belonging anywhere.
