I no longer like Pepsi and I think Cocacola is better

Also I had powdered donuts for the first time in years and they tasted odd, well never eating them again 😓🤷‍♂️

the longer I go without certain snack foods or drinks the worse they taste to me if i try them again after a long absence. I cannot tolerate American cheese slices, Velveeta or other such cheese, margarine, any food cooked in artificially flavored buttery oil such as Church’s Biscuits that are dipped in them before they are baked, powdered coffee creamer, Twinkies, canned soups, etc. I don’t know how I tolerated that stuff to begin with. I don’t eat anything with gluten now either and have stopped eating anything with sugar too.

@SW-User when you get used to eating something often you may not notice it bothering you but you might think something else is wrong and not link it to the processed foods you eat….I had inflammation internally and could feel it and I’m sure it was some of the stuff I was eating. I can get inflammation from some foods that are generally thought as healthy because I have a sensitivity to certain salicylates that occur naturally in food, raspberries are one such food, red wine, cashew milk, grain oils (canola was promoted as being heart healthy but it inflames a lot of people because it’s got too much omega 6 acids in it and other oils too). I just drank about 2 cups of cashew milk in 2 days and felt like my liver, lungs etc were on fire. I had to throw the rest out. I found out that drinking green tea with lemon and honey or stevia will help neutralize that inflammation, made me feel fresh in my liver and I don’t know how else to explain it but if you’ve been inflamed and then it gets neutralized pretty quick you feel really good.

@SW-User I’ve been on keto since Thanksgiving week and have lost weight but got stuck, had to add resistant starches (green bananas, potatoes etc) to my diet and started losing again. I’ll go back to keto in a week or so

@SW-User I got off it after supplementing with Vitamin D and Boron. Dr. Berg was talking about both of them (in different videos) helping with arthritis and joint pain, that was enough to make me want to take them but he mentioned that both of them may have a metabolic benefit and help with hormone balance. First thing I noticed was my wanting to eat anything sweet was gone and within a few days I didn’t want to eat starchy foods either, so I went low carb. it was easy and I felt like my body was metabolizing stored fat that it didn’t before, i think that’s why i was craving foods with sugar & starchs. My joints aren’t aching any more either so I am getting around better and a bit more active.
