I saw a question that was asked on CNN: Can vaccinated people get infected with the Omicron variant?

How do people not know how these vaccines work by now this shit ain't new.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@CountScrofula So how do you think the vaxes work. They are not vaccines BTW.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Shoo. If all the nonsense believed was true, I'd have to be in on the conspiracy theory as a fact of my work. So why talk to me, I'm one of them.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@CountScrofula That, son, is your problem. The facts are on my side. The vaxes are not safe or effective and all research is now showing they have a negative effect.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 However you didn't answer my question. How do these vaxes work?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 ALL THE RESEARCH. That's right all of it, including the researchers I literally personally know and deal with.

They're just paid off or lying to me. Oh god soylent green is made of people! Why won't anyone believe me?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@CountScrofula And you don't have any proof other than your research friends. Too funny. How do these vaxes work and what is different between them and other vaccines?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Feel free to educate me on how this conspiracy functions.

How is the secret kept from everyone but you?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@CountScrofula I am simply asking if you know how these vaxes work as compared to say smallpox. There is a very big difference. Can you tell me what that difference is?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Amazing job avoiding my question are you Justin Trudeau?

Covid has mRNA, protein, and viral vector vaccines. Yes I know how they work. Smallpox was treated with cowpox infections. Same deal - train your body's immune system to fight the real thing when it comes.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@CountScrofula so how stable is the spike protein?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 You're avoiding my question Justin.
@hippyjoe1955
The facts are on my side.
Then why do you never present any facts??
How do these vaxes work?
These Covid vaccines present a target to the immune system so the immune system can develop an antigen specific response. Just like all prior vaccines.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@CountScrofula As are you. How stable is the spike protein on a corona virus? Let me elaborate. If the spike 'mutates' will the human immune system still recognize it? After all the vax does not create the entire virus just one spike and if that spike is different on a variant the vax may be worthless.
@hippyjoe1955 Antigens often identify and attach to a PORTION of a target. So many of the antigens our bodies develop will bind to the portions of the spike protein that didn't change. And for the spike protein to do its job, much of it needs to be conserved.

And that's why the vaccines continue to keep vaccinated people out of hospitals, even as the new variants run rampant.

BTW, did you think the only mutations in Covid were to the spike protein? Think again!!
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@ElwoodBlues Antigens need to target something they recognize. They were caused by the mRNA to seek one particular spike protein. Should said spike protein mutate the antigens won't recognize it and won't attack it. Seems simple enough what about the human immune system do you not understand? (besides all of it)

@ElwoodBlues Do you need vaccines everyday or at what interval?
@JonathanSJ No, never everyday. The interval depends on the vaccine, which depends on the disease. I believe the polio vaccine was a total of 4 doses giving protection for life. The childhood MMR vaccine is 2 doses; protects from measles, mumps, rubella. Flu keeps mutating so they need to make a new vaccine every year.
