The next thing about me
The next big thing I remember that has any signifance to me now is Helaga.
She was a German Shepherd and my best friend. I was 5 now, in kindergarten and everyday after school we would run laps around the yard. My mom had 3 if us to manage so wearing us out was smart haha.
My mom was old school. She had dinner on the table and plated before my father got home from work. Often this stress she put on herself translated to alot of yelling so I would just sit outside with Helaga.
My grandma would sneak me ice-cream and I ofcourse shared it with her. A fact my brother have lived telling every single boyfriend I ever brought home haha.
I do not know what ever happened to her. But I loved her fiercely I remember that.
We were staying with my grandma for some reason I do not remember why.
I was in the garage with Helaga and she wouldn't eat her dog food she seemed ill. (She wasn't lol) so then I thought maybe she wanted her food warmed and then I remembered where grandma kept the matches.
So I get them and proceed to build a fire and show helaga how to eat the dog food because maybe she was confused. (Another lovely brother factoid) my brother walks in and sees my attempts at a fire while I'm chewing up dog food.
In true big brother fashion he sees Lil sis needs help with a fire and grabs the can of gasoline.
Memory blips out and I see fire trucks and my grandma is like hopping around screaming something to Jesus.
Then I remember a flood I think my memory is off here because there wasn't a flood but sure remember one like a real memory. I see muddy water flowing at us like a tsunami. I connect this to likely the water from the fore being put out.
But yeah that's all I got for now.
