Someone I broke up with a few months after high school graduation found me on Facebook fifty years later. We have struck up a very nice online friendship during the past year and a half, and of course we do not relate to each other the way we did back then. (Nothing secretive about this: our spouses know and are supportive. In fact, she and my wife are Facebook friends now as well.)

I suppose if she and I were not married, I would consider dating her. But I have a feeling we would get along with each other better as friends then as a "couple."

There was one other ex, from my twenties, who left me heartbroken when she broke up with me. I have nothing but positive memories of her, but of course I have no idea what she is like nowadays. After all these years, I cannot say that I am still pining over her. But, if we were both single and we bumped into each other, I can imagine the possibility of dating her, but only after getting to know her again and discovering whether there is some basis for a relationship.

Every other ex: no way in hell!!!!!!!!!!!!
