What can a sweater as a gift, symbolize?

I'm part of this "18 treasures" of a family friend's debut. Apparently, I need to explain why I chose this gift for her. Unfortunately, I have no deep reason for this. Lol. Help a sister out.

Sweaters often have a warm and cozy interpretation. You could use that and imply you want her to feel secure and content.
