how long would it take me to learn Arabic?

You could probably learn a few phrases in a couple of days but language is usually a complex thing that takes years to master. I still get my English language wrong and I'm a native Brit.

@octoberthesixth no, I've never needed to talk in any other languages. I know bits of Spanish, french, German and japanese but not fluently.
