What were you doing during the supposed end of the world, December 21, 2012?

I was a sophomore in highschool and I was one of the few students to show up to shool. The hallways were eerily quite except for the playing of Christmas music over the intercom. Surreal time it was.

All that was about was that the 500 year Mayan calendar was ending. The next day was just day one of the next 500 year cycle.

No educated person believed that turning the page on a calendar would cause the world to end.

For me and for everyone I know, it was a non-event.
