In the news........"the pandemic has raised new questions about how to balance individual liberty with public health. The latest is whether people who

refuse to be vaxxed should pay for their own medical care out of pocket when they get COVID"

What do you think?

Very much against it – it will open the gates of hell.
What about smokers with a heart disease? Should they pay for their medical care because it's caused by cigarettes? Should skiers pay for themselves in case of an accident?

@helenS Or the idiots that overdose on drugs

@helenS Exactly. It basically sets the standard that you shouldn't have any medical coverage for any of your medical needs that aren't inherited or genetic or inflicted by another person.

@helenS Smokers and skiers don't overwhelm healthcare, to the point of pushing/barring non-smokers and non-skiers literally out of it. They're nowhere comparable.

@Elessar Once the new rule is established ("You'll pay for it yourself if it's your own fault"), it will be applied to everything soon.

@helenS I'm sure we can add some clause, making it only a thing for epidemiological scenarios.

@Elessar I can understand you anger. The idea of letting those idiots pay for themselves will turn against all of us though.
