Is talking to a stranger already a way of leading them on?

I was just new to this platform when someone suddenly messaged me. He was kind and very, very appreciative of me---even just minutes after his first message. I could sense the "simping" but I let it go. I talked to him and shared with him some things about me for the sake of returning the "favor" of him sharing to me. At that time, I had plenty of time to reply right away but the next day, I became busy (because you cant expect someone to be in here 24/7, can you?) Anyway, he sounded hurt in his last messages and seemed to imply that I ghosted him. did I do something wrong? Lol.

SW by-laws cleary state that by replying to a message is equivalent to consenting to an intimate relationship and sharing details of your life (even as a favour) constitutes a marriage proposal.

..you left him at the altar 馃槶
hard to say .. dont take offence for he might not knows what in your life keeping you busy.. so let it go.. you dont know me and yet if i dont hear from you tomorrow i would not be offended. we are both new and learning.. so play nice. even if the other one does not

@markansas I'm not offended. HE seemed to be...and I really don't understand what the fuss is about. Lol.

He鈥檚 probably more annoyed he was talking to you and you never got him to that sweet spot after talking to you to make you feel comfortable to do so.
What? That's crazy. How can you take a day of conversation so seriously..he needs help.

@aaaabbbb Seriously! Lol!

CallistaSloane26-30, F

No you didn't do anything wrong. You don't owe strangers online anything. It's a form of manipulation don't let them play that game with you.
BlondilyOldF
Yeah some guys get real clingy like that. It's his problem, not yours.
CallistaSloane26-30, F
@BlondilyOld I think so, too :P
