Patching puddy at a paint shop. It trowels on easily. Some light sanding with fine sanding paper and then paint. It wouldn’t be that expensive to have a professional painter do it if you’re short on time or need a perfect job.

Yeas the plaster and paint is the normal way .
i dont know how wide the chipping is but you might be able to corner cap it. corner cap or guard comes in many sizes and styles .[image deleted]

Plaster and some paint. Then maybe consider a corner bumper to prevent this from happening again ?

Apply white cement. Then get wall paper.
If it's long term, re-plaster and paper the whole wall.
Short-term, you can get white gorilla tape that'll work wonders.
