About arms in the US

Did anyone ever consider that parts of the US constitution could be misspelled? Educational standards were not very high at the time but the level of prudishness was pretty extreme. Maybe some nonconformists were actually pushing for the right to bare arms. 😲

I've been reading a lot about those times lately, and while general levels of education were perhaps not comparable to now, many of the men who wrote the Constitution were far better educated than most of us.

I know it was a joke - but I had that information rattling around and had to set it free.

@Mamapolo2016 Well thanks for the translation (I suppose). Not sure why you sent it. That's not a language I can speak/read, although I can see its relationship to your English statement. Is it Spanish or Portuguese? I'll guess Spanish. I do speak fine Franglais with occasional dictionary reference. On ne sait quest-ę-que va venir next (ne PAS - sorry, forgot that bit, but in the vernacular can you leave it out?).
