What part of Tennessee did some of my gut flora come from?

@SwampFlower very familiar, I had family move there in 1979 however I didn’t move there, but have visited and have a sister, nieces and nephews and my Mom there. I nearly fell out of my chair when you said Polk County 😂😂

@BackyardShaman Lol I was born in Chattanooga but actually grew up on the GA side in McCaysville. We went to Chattanooga or Knoxville for everything.

@SwampFlower I know right where you’re talking about! I lived in North Georgia, close to Athens, and when I visited Cleveland I went through Copper Hill, Ducktown, I also had friends back towards Franklin NC and Hiawassee. Small World!

@SwampFlower I live in Huntsville but I have some family and cousins from Tennessee. Especially in the Middle and Eastern Tennessee area. I have some cousins from Memphis and Jackson

@SwampFlower OMG I always liked Sylva NC I’ve had friends there, also Highlands area, Clayton Georgia. I live way over in S.C. now I miss those mountains.

@BackyardShaman oh man this is so neat. I've been feeling so homesick lately. We live in Florida now but are looking to move back in a year or so.

@SwampFlower I may move to that area too, I really miss it, I’m betting you will return it’s so peaceful and beautiful!

@BackyardShaman It really is. I would be happy anywhere in the Tennessee counties between Old Fort and Tellico. Or in NC between the state line and Asheville. Where are you thinking of moving to?

@SwampFlower my familiarity is more towards Dillard, Highlands (Transylvania County), but also Hendersonville NC area. I also like the region you’re talking about on the other side of Asheville towards the state line.

@BackyardShaman My husband is also from Waynesville so he and my dad are the NC experts. But I do really love Robbinsville and Andrews in NC. Also Highlands and Panthertown.

@SwampFlower wow!! I’m a lot older than y’all but I could have passed you going down or up those roads! I used to camp and hike all over that area.

@BackyardShaman I used to work for an outfitter in Ocoee. Did you ever go rafting?

@BackyardShaman I'm a little bit younger than you, but I was a guide in the early 2000s. Super cool. Do you remember any of the rapids?

@SwampFlower it’s been a long time ago it seems like there were some rough ones and some areas that weren’t.

@BackyardShaman yep. The middle Ocoee is like that. You went before they redid it for the Olympics and everything. That's so cool to me.

@SwampFlower oh yeah!! It seemed to have a better feel to it prior to the Olympics year, I also remember going to the Worlds Fair in Knoxville.
