Read at least 15 minutes a day. Why? Because it helps you to write as you learn from what you read.
At least 30 minutes of mathematics a day. Why? Cus, it increases your number skills.

I read about 10 hours a day from 1st grade until I had children. After I had kids, I put my books away because I was afraid, I would neglect them instead of going to the beach and having fun every day. Now I mostly work and do a little writing. You are right we learn to write from reading.
