Do people just block anyone with whom they disagree?

Isn't that stupid? I have room for dissenting opinions, unless people get personal(ad hominem). I could...gasp...learn something! Are people afraid of knowledge?

Judging by the actions of some, that answer might be "yes".

Yes, plenty of people do that.

I don't block for disagreement, but I will block someone who can't discuss something with me without insulting me. You insult me in the midst of argument, you get blocked. Life is short--I'm not going to waste time on people who are not worth it.
