A most difficult question. But the puzzle is the harder you try to answer it or the more pressing the need the more frustrating I find it.

So my trick is to check how physically I am and worry about the interior when later.

It doesn't really matter how I am doing - unless I know how I am doing and it is not good and so I need to talk to someone. That is my second trick, to know who to talk to if things get desperate. Find a service that is free and available 24 hours a day and put it in your phone now:)

The third trick is then to go and do things. Something that you have been putting off, something like a daily chore just anything to get moving. Walk around your home, just anything.

Good luck:)
@Zeusdelight Focus on being happy.

@Zeusdelight thanks for the positivity.

Yeah I talked to someone, ate, drank, & slept.

I feel worlds better now.

Compare yourself to other situations, if it could be worse then in my opinion you are doing ok. Maybe it's not perfect, maybe it's not fair. If you are well, safe, warm and not hungry you can slowly improve things for yourself.

@Scarfface that's complicated, cause in some ways, things are the worst they've ever been, in others, far greater.

Sometimes I feel two things at once.

@Winterwanderer this is true for me too. I think like this.. you can't enjoy the good bits if there was no bad bits because you wouldn't know the difference.
Answering your original question I think you are doing ok to be seeing that things can be good 👍
