Bored, never, but that's just me...

When people message me saying they are "bored" and want to chat, I feel to say - if you lack the ability to even entertain yourself how do you propose to captivate me? Aye, I think I'll say that from now on...

@Egg01 Just to clarify (as I just read it again and it could be misunderstood). I often get messages that say "Hi". It means I am bored entertain me. Your post reminded me of that.

@curiosi Ah ok. No, I get those messages that's what I'm saying. It's no one's job to entertain me but it irks me somewhat when someone initiates a conversation, I engage and try to be friendly and understanding and they go on to make no effort whatsoever and answer in single word replies. Why go to the trouble of initiating a conversation then? Not talking about you personally, I hasten to add..

Lol, I totally understand. When someone comes on announcing that they bored, I’m less inclined to reply.
