Umm, Indians were as likely to try and slaughter "whites" as the other way around. It all ended up in a series of wars involving endless Indian tribes and several European powers, with the Indians in general ending up losing. But the longest, hardest wars in US history were the Indian Wars.
That's nice - short version of the story is us godfearing white folk SLAUGHTERED them heathan red skin bastards ....slaughtered a LOT of them too - why it TOOK so long... And nobody is suggesting it was EASY either - hard dangerous work slaughtering millions of people for sure...
Wasn't a picnic for the whites, blacks, and other Indians killed by Indians over the centuries, either. Like I said, read some history -- the Americas were never some idyllic peaceful Eden of human co-existence pre- or post-Columbus.
