Did you ever regret being humble and swallowing your pride?

Being humble and swallowing my pride, aren't necessarily related.

I [i]do[/i] regret not standing up for myself when I was a kid, although doing so might well have been the end of me.

I'm sure I have once or twice. What ive found can happen is people assume you are in the wrong when you do that.
