Why are children so precious?

I'm sitting in the hospital and there's a little boy across from me in a wheelchair. I looked at him and smiled even with a mask on. He smiled back and waved. He's so adorable with big brown eyes . Makes me sad that he's just sitting there with his mom and she isn't even interacting with him.

What a wonderful description and reminder of the gifts children give us. They remind us to be friendly. That a positive outlook can make any situation better. To look at the world with big eyes.

Don't worry about the mom not interacting with him at that moment. She spends a tremendous amount of time with him and if she'd been interacting with him at that moment then he wouldn't have smiled with you. Or had time to notice the world around him. Or daydream.

Thanks for noticing him and smiling. You shared kindness and so many lessons. :)
