You attract what you put out there

If you put out kindness and compassion you hopefully get that back ..things will align in this way..life will flow better

At least this is what I hope happens
Those people who are not for you will repell ...

Not always true..i wasted many years being kind and supportive and giving and got sod all back!..so now i treat people as they treat me

I'm not sure I believe that. Online and daily life... there's a lot of people who fit the "opposites attract" thing. I seem to attract some who are nothing like me.
I remember times that those who were not good for me as friends or more were the ones I ended up hanging with... and it changed me.
Now...maybe I should just hang out with myself. :)

Can't say that happens always because I am kind.

However, I've had more users that break me while the honest ones never seem to appear.

@SW-User I keep my heart out of the equation now. Having being hurt there, I built a wall. It's hard to trust people.

I expect the worst well in advance to prevent getting hurt despite being nice.

@Beatbox34 I understand this completely. I am the same in that respect. I learned a very hard lesson.All I can do is take this lesson and apply it where I won't make the same mistakes again. I am still the person I am .I will just be more careful from now on in .

Being content with the fact that you have been kind, empathetic and compassionate is nice...but the question of getting a fair return...well that is hard to come by.
