What things should you hide at home when guests come to stay for a couple of days ?

My aunt used to hide the alcohol and wine crock when her uncle, who was a tee-totaled, would come for a visit for a few weeks. One time she didn’t know he was coming and started a batch of wine. She had it in a little closet in the kitchen with a folding door over the closet. He walked past it one morning and said “I smell whiskey”…😂….it still had a few days to ferment.
