What is the motivation behind offending someone or some people who have a certain belief you disagree with?

@TeenAngel you can do that. I am talking about choosing to offend a person with an opposing belief as opposed to respectfully expressing disagreement and sorting things out logically

@Babylon People mistake actual truth for an attack and they aren't interested in reevaluating things.

@TeenAngel I am aware of that. Again, I am talking about when someone sees someone they disagree with and instead of discussing and expressing disagreement logically, they choose to try offending the other person intentionally

@TeenAngel yeah, that's some of it. It also encompasses rudeness, intentional misrepresentation, disrespectful remarks, etc.
