@bowman81 My first bow was one of those old Bear Fiberglass ones. Don't even know if they are made anymore.
Now I use a wooden laminate recurve.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I still have a couple of fiberglass stick bows, that are set up for me and the grandkids for them to learn on. One set up for me cause I'm a lefty and one for the right handed kids. Just fun and targets. These days I am using a crossbow for hunting. Age and rotator cuff damage have caught up with me.

@bowman81 Makes sense. I do mostly target shooting. Sadly my original bow was stolen in a break in years ago.
I am right handed but shoot a bow like a lefty. Someone tried to show me the "proper" way to shoot when you are right handed and I can't hit a damn thing so I went back to what works. Confused people at practice and some tournaments.
