No way...it is so...vivid. You are also compact & concise. But your choice of words is so...well-honed. Each word seems well-chosen & yet natural. It has the seeming effortlessness of natural expression, but the carefully crafted nature which belies a bit of thought.
Only truly great writers can make this look easy.
I think you are quite gifted. And I am pretty hard on people for misusing language (ok, mostly if they are being asses)...but I don't need to say this without meaning it, I don't tell everyone that their writing is amazing, incandescant, etc.
