Are GT Fastbacks worth the money ?

Looked at a lovely Bullitt iteration some years back with Hurst shifter, Magnaflows etc and took it for Test drive and it was ok for a 60s car but turned out to be a rust bucket and was well overpriced (it did look good). Any views on these ?

It was around £45k but it’s true value was around £25K- it was indeed like a Steve Mc Q one in Highland Green -I’ve not owned US muscle cars just European ones

Hell yea it's a badass machine!
1966 mustang gt 225 hp 3 speed v8!

What was the asking price?

I'm pretty sure Steve McQueen owned one

A nice 60’s Mustang with no rust I’d going to cost plenty. You could probably buy a new one or newer one for less.

The latest one does look very cool I don’t think the USA makes tons of great cars but they have nailed it with the Mustang and the Camaro SS is a great car too or at least I found it so when I hired one a few years ago @jackson55
