I don't want to go to school, but my parent said I have to. What can I do?

I'm being bullied, told everyone and no one cares.

I'm sorry you're being bullied- been there. Be brave, it won't last forever! Try focus on things that make you happy, hobbies. that's what I did, got me through.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@RaemaSnr It's not your fault. Thank you.
I tried to be brave and focus on things that make me happy, but it's hard when kids lock you in cupboards and and smash your phone against walls and spit on your face.
RaemaSnr · 26-30, F
@Manfredthemanic I hope you get through it. Buuut you can look forward to the future when it's over I guess, if you can't move.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@RaemaSnr Yes. But I still don't want to go to school anymore.

@Manfredthemanic Would your parents move you to another school? I had a client who had two sons, the younger one was being bullied. She took him out of his school and he went to another one and he was much happier. It was a private school so she had to pay, not like the state school he had been where he was bullied. She said it was worth it to have him happy again.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull No, Fluffy. I don't want to go to another school. I don't want to go to any school.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic It seems to me that the only power you have is how well or badly you are doing in class and in exams. Your parents want you to get good grades, that's why they sent you there. If your grades start dropping they'll want to know why and it MIGHT dawn on them that what you are suffering at school is affecting your work. Then SOMEONE may do something about it. In much the same way as a worker withdraws his/her labour to force the management to listen to them, you'll have to withdraw some of your brainpower.....😉😊
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull That's why I don't like my family sometimes, because my uncles and aunts ask me how my grades are before asking how I am.
My brother is good because he asks me if I'm happy. Mum and dad are getting better at it now and they tried to help me with the bullying. But it's hard.
I like studying and my work a lot because I want to go to a good uni.
Mum used to homeschool me, so I don't see why she can't do that again.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic I wanted my mothr to homeschool me when I was being bullied. She was actually a qualified teacher so I thought it was a perfect solution but she didn't.😒
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Mum said it's important for me to be with kids or I will be even more awkward than I already am. 🙄🙃😢
But I won't go back to school until the boys are gone or in the dungeons or something.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic I think in this case being with nasty kids like that is more damaging to your self esteem and ability to relate to people than being schooled on your own.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Yes, because I like to learn. I love a lot of subjects. I just don't want to be hurt as well.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic That's understandable. People should feel safe and happy. Some kids are so traumatised after being bullied at school that they drop out and never go onto further education because they think it will be just like school 😞
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Is that what happened to you, Fluffy? 😢
I hope that doesn't happen to me. Maybe when I'm older, I won't be so strange.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic You're not strange. You're just different from the people who have been bullying you. And that's good you're different because you wouldn't want to be like them, would you?
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull No. I couldn't bully someone like that.
But sometimes I do feel like there is something wrong with me.
I know there isn't.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic Could you make some friends out of school, meet people you have something in common with? Are there any clubs/groups/organisations near where you live?
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Yes.
But I don't have a lot of time. Maybe at the weekend, and I think I'm scared of meeting new people incase they are also mean. But I know I have to try. It just takes more effort for me sometimes.
The first time I went to the gym, I walked there three times before I went inside. 🙈
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic I think gyms can be quite competitive - I don't think I'd have the nerve to walk into a gym 😆 I know you have a lot of homework etc.
But if you said to your mum that you're trying to make new friends to improve your social skills, I bet she'd think it's a good idea. She can't argue because she thinks that what you should be doing 😉 If you meet just one nice new person you can share interests with, you'll feel better. When I was at the school I hated I met a girl at a rabbit show (we were both showing rabbits in classes) and we kept in touch and I visited her and wrote for quite a long time.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull No, gyms aren't as scary as they look. Some people are nice there and told me what I should and shouldn't do when I work out.
Yes! I will tell her she can't argue with me! I only need one good friend and I think everything would be better. 😊
I would like to go to a rabbit show!!!! 🐰
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic It wasn't just rabbits, it was actually an agricultural show with sheep, cattle (including some fluffy bulls 😆) showjumping but also a rabbit, guinea pig and poultry show. It was fun taking part and one of my rabbits won two classes 🐇❤️
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Also, Fluffy, sometimes I make things harder, like trying new thing, because I'm too Manfret.
Sometimes my body doesn't let me because I get very anxious and freak out.
Today, I got a little mean because I was angry. It's hard to explain.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic I think I know what you mean. Like scared and panicking and want to lash out.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Fluffy bulls should win everything! Was your rabbit Fluffy?
My brother had rabbits when I was little, but they were a little mean. 🙈
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Yes, sometimes. I can control it most of the time, but today was upsetting for me.
Fluffybull · F
@Manfredthemanic My rabbit wasn't very fluffy; she had a smooth coat but she was very pretty and very friendly. She'd jump up on your knee. She came into the house and had a litter tray.
