Why are male teens so unfair & spiteful 2 their moms despite logic being pointed out to the male teens?

Yes, I had been to a study group designed for teen parents just so that I could deal with my teenager better.

I’ve been there...and trust me, getting up to this obnoxious stranger who is utterly annoying is every parents nightmare...esp. the moms. The first thing you need to understand is that they want to be heard. @Myocite

@Vivaci I listen to him. I've always listened to everything he ever said and I've always given his thoughts great weight. He & my other sons were always, "heard" by me.

There! Then you’re already a good mom... and if they purposely don’t listen to you, then use reverse psychology. My son n me have a good laugh over it. 😆@Myocite

@Vivaci he does actually. He thinks it's funny. He knows I'm sincere and usually serious, & he likes to kid around sometimes.

Lolz...so at times it gets annoying for us, rt? At that time tell him to do the opposite (say you need the red umbrella but he will get the green one purposely) so tell him to get the green umbrella not red! 😉@Myocite

@Vivaci he says I'm NOT funny, that I don't give a, "tell". I didn't even know what a tell was & had to look it up. I think I have a pretty good sense of humor but he says women aren't funny. 😲

😄 Just learn to ignore it and don’t show your reaction. He’s just testing your limits. Tell him he’ll have to try harder to impress. Coz women are always better than men.(and he should respect that first) @Myocite

@Vivaci You're probably right. It's so hard for me to pretend anything, or not show how I feel. I'm as brutally honest as a 3 year old, & always found it hard to not show how I feel.

Esp. Our kids ...not easy to hide from them. My son can guess from my voice if I’m not well or sad. I totally get ya... just know that you’re his Mom and you can be slightly louder than him just to show him who’s the boss. 🤭@Myocite
