How is life in Illinois?

I spent a week there. If it counts. I was downtown. I stayed in the central loop. It’s very crowded. I feels and it looks like people are living on top of each other. Everything is so tight. My hotel was extremely small. Like I’m 5’2 and skinny I had to squeeze around the room😳. Literally had to go sideways and bend my head from the tv when I was passing in front of the bed. The next day I got the “presidential suite” and it looked like a regular hotel room 😳 and THAT was EXPENSIVE!! Most people walk, use subway, bus. Lot of people don’t have cars. Parking is expensive. Food is more than I had to pay in my home town. But I can’t compare because what I ate was from businesses I don’t have in my state.

The zoo is nice, it was free, however because of covid most of the animals were not out so it was just a park to walk.

Because of covid, many attractions have increased their price to point it’s not even worth to see. You might think your paying to get into one whole attraction with the amount but when you get there they have separate cost to go to different attractions hosted by the same place.

Definitely feels safe downtown they have a lot of police.

Outside the city, I’m hearing you have to be careful where you are.

The food is delicious 😋.
Would I go again? To visit, yes and eat the food.
I would try it out again once the museum and other attractions go down in price.....

To live there Nope I would not personally.

People seem very nice.
