I want to travel.

But, I'm a female american and I am very wary.

Id like to find a trustworthy native (of any country/region). just someone I can trust who can show me around.

@HellsBelle Many people here are not who they appear to be. Of course their SW persona may be closer to their authentic self than their "irl" persona is, but still. But if you would really get to know the person first before embarking on your travels, it could work out.

Join a travel group or go to a language school. They let you live with a family and your school can be as little as 1 or 2 hours each day then you go to event with other school members or go do habitat for humanity. Those are ways to travel and have some built in connections
