That depends on if they’re users more than if they work. My husband’s mother chooses not to work & lived off my husband for many years & now his younger brother takes care of her. Money is very tight. I think it’s wrong that she watches tv 7 days a week while he works 6 days a week. My husband’s uncle also hasn’t held a job in over 15 years. He begs for money from people just about everyday. Neither of them has mental or physical impairments. They simply feel others should be taking care of them instead of them doing for themselves. That trait is extremely unattractive.
