@Pretzel yes, we can now share posts directly to twitter, WhatsApp or whatever... I used to like the fact that the site was more low key, I don't want my stuff shared without my knowledge

@SW-User yeah, but technically you could always do that by just copying and pasting the URL in your clipboard. This just makes with a tap of two buttons.

@SUPERVlXEN if they’re in your circle and can access the post then I’d imagine they can

I'm using this setting on all my posts (sounds like more posts than it is in reality, lol).

I noticed that on my own post, but I'm not aware if that option only shows up for me, or also random users.

@SUPERVlXEN I just looked on your profile and all of your posts have the share button- whether or not those outside of sw without accounts would be able to follow the link or not

Obviously more unnecessary and stupid updates are going to arrive also

@SW-User I don’t blame you. This is BS. I get that it’s their website but why do they keep doing this. They better release a feature where we can have the option to not share when we make a post.

Yes, someone made me aware of this on my standing post. I used to use the limited setting as I really don't have more than a handful people in my circle and do not plan on adding people I don't interact with in private too. It won't change anything for me, and I did delete my posts already. Thankfully I learned the lesson not to have too many posts at a time, nor pics. Thank you for the heads up though.

@SW-User and others - I tested sharing a limited post and it does work but the link just brings you to this no title preview either. So the limited things will still be kept only on SW. Admins should really remove the share button from these posts too though for clarity hopefully they get on that
