I just survived my first day of school and I need a pep talk.

Now I have to do homeschool and homework.

Homeschool? As in online school or actual homeschool where parent's are the teachers?
Homework sucks! lol
I always figured six or seven hours of school was enough time to get the school work done.
Pep talk... just do the work and get 'er done. If you don't complain and waste time, you'll get done a lot faster!

@Manfredthemanic Ha! I would hope your mom would realize regular school is already tiring!
I am learning basics of drum. Guitar is one I am teaching myself. I have a daughter who learned to play guitar by ear. If she can learn, so can I. :)
Subjects I didn't like so much... math mainly. I saw no use for anything beyond the basics...and still don't. lol I did much better when allowed to work at my own pace. I love learning, just not a school setting.
And thank you again. It's nice to know someone might actually miss you. :)

By ear? That sounds cool. Do you mean she learned notes by listening to them? 😧
Maths is one of my favourites. 🤣 But I do need it for university in the future.
It's okay. It's good to have a friend, even if it is online.

@Manfredthemanic Yep... my daughter listened to a song, picked up her guitar, did a few rounds of working out the notes, then played the song. Now that I think about it, I have sisters who did the same thing when they played.
Math...you can have it! lol
