@HowIMetYourMother: Just think that dating is a way of exploring the traits you want or don't want in a potential mate. Life is complicated, friend. I think too many people search too desperately. Studies show people delay marriage until 29ish. And these marriages last longer, and are more satisfying than the majority of those who marry younger. So take your sweet time. Enjoy. Choose. And know you will find her eventually.

@HowIMetYourMother: Love means accepting a person for their positive qualities as well as for their flaws. Marriage is a commitment of a life chosen together. People often think they can change their partner. If one thinks this way, it can doom their relationship. One changes for oneself. One changes to evolve, one changes for good reasons that they have learned. This is my advice. I have been married once before for 3 decades. I divorced him because our relationship was cold. He was gay and he couldn't be true to himself let alone me. I have dated a bit. (happily divorced X nearly 4 years) I am in a committed long-term open relationship now. I have learned so much on relationships and on life and on myself. Thanks for your thoughts.
