@Manfredthemanic Well, it depends how much older you mean. Lots of people make good friends at Uni and keep in touch with them for years. Sometimes other people don't see their friends so much when some of them get married and have children. I bet you'll make lots of friends at Uni and when you start working. It's easier these days to keep in touch via e-mail, Facebook, etc. That wasn't available when I was in my 20s and 30s.
